Special Issue on Algae Research

Algae are photosynthetic organisms that occur in most habitats. They vary from small, single-celled forms to complex multicellular forms. Many of algae could play a significant role in meeting the world’s food, water, energy, health care and material needs. 

 

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring algae research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Algae biology
• Algae cultivation
• Algal products and economics
• Algal harvesting and extraction
• Algae energy
• Algae biotechnology
• Algal bloom
• Microalgae
• Applications

 

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Algae Research” should be selected during your submission.
