Special Issue on Applied Probability
Applied
Probability is the application
of probability theory to physical, biological, medical, social and
technological problems. As science and engineering move forward, data and
information play an important role in our social life, we end up dealing more
and more complex systems. Applied probability as the tools to describe it and
analyze it, let us to know the exact state of every piece of the system.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring applied
probability. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Probabilistic models
-
Conditional probabilities
-
Markov Chains
-
Convexity, Optimization, and Inequalities
-
Random variables
-
Random processes
-
Laws of large numbers and inference
-
Applications
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Applied
Probability” should be selected during your submission.
