Special Issue on Green Catalysts
Green catalysts as a prime example of "green chemistry" are environmentally friendly catalysts with a host of applications for reducing and cleaning up pollutants. The research on green catalysts means the search for catalysts that lead to more efficient chemical reactions, which promote reactions at lower pressures and temperatures and create less waste. Or it could mean finding safer, cleaner alternatives to toxic and hazardous conditions, such as using water in place of organic solvents.
This special issue for Modern Research in Catalysis will focus on the discovery, design and optimization of materials used for green catalysts, the preparation of green catalysts, the evaluation on the properties of green catalysts and their applications. Original research articles, review articles as well as communications related to the work on green catalysts are welcome to be submitted.
