Special Issue on Research on Thin Films
A thin
film is a layer of material ranging from fractions of a nanometer (monolayer)
to several micrometers in thickness. The thin films possess wide applications
in electronic semiconductor devices and optical coatings according to the
thin-film construction. The formation of the thin film is reached by thin-film
deposition - any technique for depositing a thin film of material onto a
substrate or onto previously deposited layers.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Research on Thin Films. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Thin Films & Coatings
-
Development of Thin Films
-
Thin Film Behaviors
-
Properties of Thin Films
-
Synthesis and Characterization of Thin Films
-
Applications of Thin Films
-
Thin Film Devices, Sensors, and Actuators
-
Mechanics and Nanomechanics of Thin Films
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Research
on Thin Films” should be selected during your submission.
