The High Magnetic Fields: Theory and Application

High magnetic fields were used mainly for measurements in condensed matter physics and for the characterization of materials. Now processing metallic materials under a strong magnetic field is a newly emerging research area. High magnetic fields was used in the various areas, including semiconductor physics, low-dimensional physics, high temperature superconductivity, heavy fermions, magnetism, atomic and molecular physics, chemistry, organic materials, material sciences, microgravity, etc. As an emerging interdisciplinary, the strong magnetic field of Materials Science has become a hot topic of current research and received broad international attention for generation of many new physical phenomenon through the combination with extreme conditions such as high temperature, ultra-high pressure and very low temperature extreme condition.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring The High Magnetic Fields: Theory and Application. The special Issue focuses on the theory, design, properties, performance analysis and testing of High Magnetic Fields.

 Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Pulsed high magnetic field technology
• Steady state strong magnetic field technology
• Superconducting materials processing with high magnetic field
• Materials processing with high magnetic field
• Magnetic materials processing with high magnetic field
• Nanometer materials processing with high magnetic field
• The high magnetic field application in biology.
• The high magnetic field application in chemistry. 
• Other research topics about the High Magnetic Fields
