Special Issue on Fractal Theory and Applications

A fractal is a natural phenomenon or a mathematical set that exhibits a repeating pattern that displays at every scale. Nowadays, fractal theory as a new science is very popular and active research. Fractals are different from other geometric figures because of the way in which the scale. We now have ways of measuring things that were traditionally meaningless or impossible to measure. They have more and more basic and generative applications in science, such as fractal information, fractal design, fractal art, and etc.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring fractal theory and applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Fractal image compression
  • Fractal geometry
  • Fractal information
  • Curves and fractal dimension
  • Fractal and disordered systems
  • Chaos and fractals
  • Multifractality
  • Applications (Physics, computer science, life science, geophysics, economics, etc.)

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Fractal Theory and Applications” should be selected during your submission.
