Special Issue on Separation, Purification and Structure Identification of Polysaccharides
Polysaccharides are polymeric carbohydrate molecules composed of long chains of monosaccharide units bound together by glycosidic linkages and on hydrolysis give the constituent monosaccharides or oligosaccharides. Polysaccharides are an important class of biological polymers.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring separation, purification and structure identification of polysaccharides. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Plant polysaccharides and fungal polysaccharides
-
Physical and chemical properties of polysaccharides
-
Biological functions of polysaccharides
-
Separation, purification, concentration techniques
-
Molecular structure identification
-
Clinical application of polysaccharides
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Separation, Purification and Structure Identification of Polysaccharides” should be selected during your submission.
