Special Issue on Research on Infrared Spectroscopy

An important tool of organic chemist is infrared spectroscopy, or IR. Infrared spectroscopy exploits the fact that molecules absorb specific frequencies that are characteristic of their structure. It is used both to gather information about the structure of a compound and as an analytical tool to assess the purity of a compound. The goal of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for scientists worldwide to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of infrared spectroscopy.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring research on infrared spectroscopy. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Types of vibrational modes
    • Sample preparation
    • Infrared detector
    • Infrared spectra analysis
    • Characteristic peaks of IR
    • Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
    • Applications of infrared spectroscopy
    • Development of infrared spectroscopy

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Research on Infrared Spectroscopy” should be selected during your submission.
