Special Issue on Bone Fracture

Bone Fracture is a medical condition in which there is a break in the continuity of the bone. A bone fracture can be the result of high force impact, stress, or disease such as osteoporosis, bone cancer or osteogenesis imperfecta, where the fracture is termed pathologic fracture. Treatment of bone fractures are broadly classified as surgical or conservative, the latter basically referring to pain management, immobilization or others. As Bone Fracture is a common injury for sportsmen and old people, further research on Bone Fracture can help us have a good understanding of the pathology and emergency measures of it.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring bone fracture. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Signs and symptoms
  • Pathophysiology
  • Treatment
  • Complications
  • Bone diseases

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Bone Fracture” should be chosen during your submission.
