Special Issue on Introduced Species

An introduced, alien, exotic, non-indigenous, or non-native species, or simply an introduction, is a species living outside its native distributional range, which has arrived there by human activity, either deliberate or accidental. Non-native species can have various effects on the local ecosystem. Not all non-native species are considered invasive. The effects of introduced species on natural environments have gained much scrutiny from scientists, governments, farmers and others.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring introduced species. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Changes in species distribution
  • Interactive with native species
  • Invasive species traits
  • Impact on biodiversity and ecosystem
  • Impact on environment
  • Impact on economic and human society

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Introduced Species” should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:
