Special Issue on Muscle Structure and Function
Muscles can produce force and motion in our body. Muscle
cells slide past one another producing a contraction that changes the length
and the shape of the cell. All the muscles in the human body show biochemical
specialisation which allows them to perform their particular physiological
functions. As muscles play such an important role in our daily life, research
on Muscle Structure and Function can
help us have a good understanding of motion and physical damages.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring muscle structure and function.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Types of tissue
-
Muscular system
-
Muscle contraction
-
Function
-
Energy consumption
-
Nervous control
-
Exercise and health
-
Muscle injury and disease
-
Muscle memory
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an
electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript
title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Muscle
Structure and Function” should be chosen during your submission.
