Special Issue on
Advances in Cancer Detection and Therapy
As the leading cause of death in the
developed world and the second leading cause of death in the developing world,
cancer causes millions of people to die each year. Thus cancer detection and therapy
has great importance to patients at an early stage. Common medical tests
include blood tests, X-rays, CT scans and endoscopy. Many treatment options for
cancer include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and palliative care depended
upon the type, location and grade of the cancer as well as the person's health
and wishes. As Cancer Detection and
Therapy play an important role in cancer prevention and management, further
study has significant importance and necessity.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring cancer detection and therapy. Potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Cancer diagnosis
-
Cancer screening
-
