Special Issue on Mechanisms of Cancer Cell Invasion
Cell
migration and invasion are crucial steps in many physiological events. However,
most critical for late-stage cancer is the metastasis process, which is responsible for up to 90%
of cancer mortality, but whose underlying molecular mechanisms are not clearly
understood. Adhesion receptor families, receptor tyrosine kinases, cytoskeleton
proteins and signaling proteins are proved interplaying in the process. To completely
understand Mechanisms
of Cancer Cell Invasion is of great importance to the progress of
research and millions of human life.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring mechanisms of cancer cell invasion. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Cell invasion and migration
-
Signal pathways for spread
-
Biochemical reaction
-
Specific molecules and components involved
-
MMPs
-
NF-κB
-
MicroRNAs
-
Tumor suppressor and activator
-
Cancer therapy
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an
electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript
title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Mechanisms of Cancer Cell Invasion” should be chosen during your submission.
