Special Issue on Restoration Ecology Research

Restoration Ecology Research is the scientific study supporting the practice of ecological restoration, which is the practice of renewing and restoring degraded, damaged, or destroyed ecosystems and habitats for the benefit of conserving biodiversity.

Enhanced biodiversity will lead to a more rigorous ecosystem, capable of withstanding higher levels of disturbance. A more rigorous ecosystem will be able to weather the future challenges of global climate change, human population expansion, exotic species invasion and the global spread of insects and diseases. As one of the most important research fields of ecology research, restoration ecology research is of great attraction to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring restoration ecology research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Biodiversity and biology conservation
• Extinction species and protection of species
• Habitat fragmentation and restoration
• Environmental degradation
• Reforestation
• Ecosystem services
• Sustainability of ecosystem

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
