Special Issue on Research of Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects how people move, speak and write. Symptoms develop gradually and may start off with slight tremors in one hand, and then people find it hard to carry out movements and muscles become weaker and weaker. According to statistics, about 10 million people around the world are estimated to be living with Parkinson's disease. What’s more, Males and people whose age is over 50 have a higher risk to get this disease.
