Special Issue on Catalyst Activity Research
Catalyst Activity is considered as the augmentation of the
rate and energy of a chemical reaction by a substance that is not itself
changed in the reaction. It lies at the core of many chemical and biochemical
processes. In designing useful and ideal materials, we have assumed up to now
that the activity of the catalyst remains constant throughout the catalyst’s
life. Unfortunately, many nature catalysts are not so kind as to allow this
behavior to be the case in most industrially significant catalytic reactions. This special issue will be focused on studying
different kinds of catalyst activity and
their applications.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring catalyst
activity research. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Evaluation and characterization of catalyst
activity
-
Catalytic reaction mechanisms and kinetics
-
Molecular-level catalytic activity and
selectivity
-
Catalyst stability and deactivation
-
Enzymes catalysis
-
Application in chemistry and biochemistry
Authors
should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Catalyst Activity Research” should be chosen during your submission.
