Special Issue on Colorectal Cancer Research
Every year, more than 1 million people get colorectal cancer and it has caused about
715,000 people die by 2010 according to the record. It originates from uncontrolled
cell growth in colon, rectum or appendix rectal and associates with rectal
bleeding, anemia or weight loss. Researches show that most colorectal cancer
occurs due to lifestyle, increasing age and a minority of cases due to
underlying genetic disorders. The treatment of colorectal cancer can be aimed
at curation or palliation which depends on patient's health, preferences and the
stage of the tumor. As the high mortality of colorectal cancer, close attention and further research shows significant
importance.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and

include, but are not limited to:
-
Signs and symptoms
-
Epidemiology
-
Pathophysiology
