Special Issue on Dyslexia

As with other learning disabilities, dyslexia is a lifelong challenge that people are born with. This language processing disorder can hinder reading, writing, spelling and sometimes even speaking. Dyslexia can affect people differently. This depends, in part, upon the severity of the learning disability and the success of alternate learning methods. Dyslexia can also make it difficult for people to express themselves clearly. It can be hard for them to use vocabulary and to structure their thoughts during conversation. All of these effects can have a big impact on a person's self-image. Children can become frustrated by the difficulty in learning to read, and other problems can arise that disguise dyslexia.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring dyslexia. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Signs and symptoms of dyslexia
  • ADHD & other related issues
  • Diagnosing dyslexia
  • Treating dyslexia
  • Psychotherapy about dyslexia
  • The negative effects of dyslexia

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the re-search field “Special Issue - Dyslexia” should be chosen during your submission.
