Special Issue on Tide

 

Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun and the rotation of the Earth. Tide, the cyclical fluctuation phenomenon of sea, has been widely used to generate electricity or other applications. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of tide.

 

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore tide. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

 

  •  The reasons for the formation of tidal
  •  Semi-diurnal tide and diurnal tide
  •  Tidal observation and prediction
  •  Tidal development and utilization
  •  Tidal cycle

 

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Tide” should be selected during your submission.
