Special Issue on Image Processing and
Computer Vision
Computer
vision (CV) and image processing are two closely related fields that utilize
techniques from artificial intelligence (AI) and pattern recognition to derive
meaningful information from images, videos, and other visual inputs. Image
processing is at the helm of the technical revolution that is being called
Industry 4.0, laying the framework for new technologies in image data processing
and object recognition. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academics all over the world to promote, share and
discuss various new issues and developments in Image
Processing and Computer Vision .
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors
to submit original research and review articles that explore Image Processing and Computer Vision. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Image segmentation
-
Object detection
-
Image classification
-
Image recognition
-
Image restoration
-
Image enhancement
-
Image synthesis
-
Image registration
-
Image retrieval
-
