Special Issue on Plant Cytogenetics and Cytology

Plant Cytogenetics and Cytology are two closely related fields of academic research that focus on the study of the cellular structure, function, and genetics of plants.  Cytogenetics specifically concerns the study of chromosomes and their role in inheritance, while cytology involves the examination of the structure, organization, and behavior of cells. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Plant Cytogenetics and Cytology.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Plant Cytogenetics and Cytology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Genome Organization and Expression:
  • Chromosome Dynamics
  • Cell Wall Biology
  • Cell Signaling and Communication
  • Cell Division and Differentiation
  • Nuclear-Cytoplasmic Interaction
  • Comparative Cytogenetics
  • Cytogenetic Techniques and Methodologies

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Plant Cytogenetics and Cytology” should be selected during your submission.
