Special Issue on Water Pollution and Control

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies, such as rivers, lakes, oceans, and groundwater, with harmful substances. These contaminants can be natural, but most often arise from human activities such as industrial production, agriculture, and urbanisation. Water pollution can have severe impacts on the health of humans and animals, and also on the environment as a whole. Water pollution control measures aim to limit and prevent water pollution, through a variety of strategies such as regulating the use of hazardous chemicals, reducing the release of pollutants into water bodies, and implementing treatment technologies that can purify polluted water. The goal of water pollution control is to protect freshwater resources and ensure the availability of clean and safe water for present and future generations.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Water Pollution and Control. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Water Pollution and Control” should be selected during your submission.
