Special Issue on Electromagnetic Field Theory

Electromagnetic Field Theory is one of the best-established general theories that provide explanations and solutions to intricate electrical problems when other theories are no longer applicable. The most significant contribution in the area of electromagnetic field theory is Maxwell’s equations, which includes Ampere’s law, Faraday’s law of induction, and the two Gauss laws. Electromagnetic field theory can either predict or explain almost all electromagnetic phenomena by appropriately manipulating the four Maxwell equations, the equation of continuity, and the Lorentz force equation. Electromagnetic field theory has been and will continue to be one of the most important fundamental research issues of the electrical engineering.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore electromagnetic field theory. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Differential and integral formulations in electromagnetic field theory
  • Researches on Maxwell’s equations
  • Electromagnetic waves
  • Electromagnetic fields from arbitrary source distribution
  • Electromagnetic radiation and radiating systems
  • Mathematical methods applied in electromagnetic field theory

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Electromagnetic Field Theory” should be selected during your submission.

Also please note the following timetable:

Submission Deadline

July 15th, 2014

Publication Date

September 2014
