Special Issue on Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology
Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology is an academic field that focuses on understanding the adverse effects of chemicals and drugs on living organisms. It involves studying the processes of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of substances in the body, as well as evaluating their potential toxicity and assessing risks. Researchers aim to develop strategies for drug safety, identify environmental hazards, and provide insights into the mechanisms of toxicological processes. Applied Pharmacology within this field aims to use this knowledge to develop and optimize therapeutic interventions.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Molecular basis and drug discovery
-
New therapeutics and strategies
-
Neurological conditions
-
Environmental toxicology
-
Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics:
-
Drug metabolism and toxicokinetics
-
Chemical risk assessment:
-
Drug safety and toxicology testing
-
Toxicological mechanisms
-
Workplace hazards, workplace exposure and toxicology
-
Developmental and reproductive toxicology
-
Clinical toxicology and poison control
-
Regulatory frameworks and safety assessment
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology” should be chosen during your submission.
