Special Issue on Multiphase Flows and Processes
Modeling
multiphase flow processes is a complex and still developing subject. It is
often an iterative process requiring multiple modeling frameworks to understand
different aspects of the flow problem. The underlying physics is still
inadequately known and a reactor engineer modeling complex multiphase flow
processes often has to complement detailed modeling efforts with validation
experiments and data analysis. The
goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in this area of Multiphase Flows and Processes.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors
to submit original research and review articles that explore Multiphase Flows and Processes. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Liquid-gas
flows (bubble columns, evaporators)
-
Gas-liquid
flows (sprays)
-
Liquid-solid
flows (separation technology, fluidized beds)
-
Modeling
and numerical simulation of multiphase flow
-
Measuring
methods for the determination of phase distribution
-
Phase
properties
-
Multiphase
flows in process industry
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Multiphase Flows and Processes” should be selected during your submission.
