Special Issue on Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder
that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. It is a complex condition
that impacts a person's perception of reality, often leading to difficulties in
distinguishing what is real from what is not. The exact cause of schizophrenia
is still unknown, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic,
environmental, and neurochemical factors.
