Special Issue on Plant Reproduction

Plant Reproduction refers to the processes that plants generate new organisms similar to themselves. It is the way vegetation perpetuate their kind and it is one of the basic signatures of life. There is a large number of species of plants on the earth and the reproduction methods of them are different. The main generation methods of vegetation include vegetative propagation, seed propagation, spore propagation, and so on. In another way, method of plant reproduction can be divided to sexual propagation and asexual reproduction, between which asexual reproduction is frequently studied by scientists, for it can generate new plant in a short period. And different reproduction methods may bring new species of plant to meet the demands of people.

This special issue aims at providing a platform for scientists and academics all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of plant reproduction. Potential topics included, but are not limited to:

• Seed propagation
• Vegetative propagation
• Spore propagation
• Other propagation methods
• Plant genotype in reproduction
• Pereditary in plant reproduction
• Generation of new species through reproduction
