    Special Issue on

Mass Spectrometry Analysis and Its Applications

Mass spectrometry is an analytical tool useful for measuring the mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) of one or more molecules present in a sample. These measurements can often be used to calculate the exact molecular weight of the sample components as well. Typically, mass spectrometers can be used to identify unknown compounds via molecular weight determination, to quantify known compounds, and to determine structure and chemical properties of molecules. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of mass spectrometry analysis and Its applications.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring mass spectrometry analysis and its applications. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • The ionization source
    • The mass analyzer
    • Ion detection system
    • Analysis of biomolecules using mass spectrometry
    • Separation techniques combined with mass spectrometry
    • Isotope ratio MS: isotope dating and tracing
    • Applications of mass spectrometry

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Mass Spectrometry Analysis and Its Applications” should be selected during your submission.
