    Special Issue on Philosophy of Language


    Philosophy of language is the study of language phenomenon by contemporary western philosophers. Generally, it is based on the application of modern mathematical logic to make logical analysis of language. The study of philosophy of language mainly includes logical positivism, speech act theory and generative linguistics. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Philosophy of Language.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Philosophy of Language. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:


    • Mind and language
    • Social interaction and communication
    • Nature of language
    • Speech act theory
    • Logical positivism
    • Meaning and confirmation of language
    • Nature of language
    • Language and logic



    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Philosophy of Language” should be selected during your submission.
