    Special Issue on Epistemology and Ontology

    Epistemology refers to the individual's view of knowledge, that is, the individual's belief in knowledge and knowledge acquisition. It mainly includes beliefs about the structure and nature of knowledge, and beliefs about the source and judgment of knowledge, as well as the moderating and influencing role of these beliefs in the process of individual knowledge construction and knowledge acquisition. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Epistemology and Ontology.

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Epistemology and Ontology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Social epistemology and information science
    • Knowledge and beliefs
    • Methods of obtaining knowledge
    • Epistemology theory and application
    • Positivism
    • Scientific method
    • Modal logic
    • Idealism and materialism
    • Essence and existence

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

    Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Epistemology and Ontology” should be selected during your submission.
