     Special Issue on Health & Medical Informatics

    Health informatics (also called healthcare informatics, medical informatics, nursing informatics, clinical informatics, or biomedical informatics) is information engineering applied to the field of health care, essentially the management and use of patient healthcare information. It is a multidisciplinary field that uses health information technology to improve health care via any combination of higher quality, higher efficiency, and new opportunities.

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Health & Medical Informatics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Clinical informatics and biomedical informatics
    • Health and information technology
    • Clinical data processing and analysis
    • Health record management
    • Public health informatics
    • Hospital information system
    • Internet-based medical treatment
    • Telemedicine and eHealth
    • Clinical decision-support
    • Health monitoring system

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Health & Medical Informatics should be chosen during your submission.
