    Special Issue on Restoration Ecology and Sustainable Development


    Global change, loss of biodiversity, depletion of resources and degradation of ecological environment make human beings trapped in ecological dilemma and seriously threaten the sustainable development of human society. Restoration ecology is of great theoretical and practical significance in strengthening ecosystem construction, optimizing management and biodiversity conservation. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Restoration Ecology and Sustainable Development.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Restoration Ecology and Sustainable Development. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:


    • Invasion and restoration
    • Spatial heterogeneity of resources
    • Physical and biological conditions
    • Bioremediation
    • Forest restoration
    • Groundwater remediation and stream restoration
    • Restoration ecology techniques and assessment
    • Habitat fragmentation and biodiversity
    • Erosion control



    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
