    Special Issue on

    Class Analysis and Social Transformation

Class analysis focuses on the study in sociology, politics and economics from the point of view of the stratification of the society into dynamic classes, which implies that is no universal or uniform social outlook, rather that there are fundamental conflicts that exist inherent to how society is currently organized. For an individual, the social transformation is the process by which one alters the socially ascribed social status of their parents into a socially achieved status for themselves. For the social system, it refers to large scale social change as in cultural reforms or transformations.
