Special Issue on Topology and Its Applications

Topology is the mathematical study of the properties that are preserved through deformations, twistings, and stretchings of objects. Tearing, however, is not allowed. A circle is topologically equivalent to an ellipse (into which it can be deformed by stretching) and a sphere is equivalent to an ellipsoid. Topology has to do with the study of spatial objects such as curves, surfaces, the space we call our universe, the space-time of general relativity, fractals, knots, manifolds. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Topology and Its Applications.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Topology and Its Applications. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • General topology
    • Algebraic topology and homotopy theory
    • Differential geometry and Lie groups
    • Geometric topology
    • Low dimensional topology
    • Applications of topology

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue –Topology and Its Applications” should be selected during your submission.
