Special Issue on Atmospheric Physics
Atmospheric
physics is a branch of meteorology and is related to climatology. Scientists use mathematical and physical models to
study and understand Earth's atmosphere and its weather systems. For example,
they apply the theory of fluid dynamics to atmospheric tides. They also use
data collected by satellites, meteorological radar, and research aircraft to
explore the layers of the atmosphere, weather systems, and climatic phenomena
like thunderstorms. The goal of this special issue is to
provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of atmospheric physics.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring atmospheric physics. In this special issue,
potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Weather processes
-
Modeling and prediction of important weather
-
Thermodynamics and the hydrologic cycle in the atmosphere
-
Cloud physics
-
Atmospheric electricity
-
Applications of atmospheric physics
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that
the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Atmospheric
Physics” should be chosen during your submission.
