Special Issue on Adolescent, Behavior and Mental Health

Adolescence is a unique and formative time. Whilst most adolescents have good mental health, multiple physical, emotional and social changes, including exposure to poverty, abuse, or violence, can make adolescents vulnerable to mental health problems. Promoting psychological well-being and protecting adolescents from adverse experiences and risk factors which may impact their potential to thrive are not only critical for their well-being during adolescence, but also for their physical and mental health in adulthood.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Adolescent, Behavior and Mental Health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Psychological development
• Cognitive development
• Social development and relationships
• Emotional and behavioral problems
• Personality traits and mental health
• Parental involvement and family functioning
• Gender issues
• Self-identity and assessment
• Alcohol use and substance abuse

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Adolescent, Behavior and Mental Health” should be chosen during your submission.
