Special Issue on Global Climate Change and Water Resources
In view of the concept of modern climate system, water resources are the
result of the long-term interaction between the five layers of the climate
system. The study of the impact of climate change on water resources mainly
includes two aspects: the impact of climate change on hydrological cycle, the
impact of climate change on water resources management system and water
resources supply and demand balance. Water resources, as an indispensable
resource for the development of human society, have been seriously disturbed
and influenced by human activities. The abnormality and change of climate and
large-scale human activities can significantly affect water cycle, water
volume, water quality, temporal and spatial distribution of water resources and
the frequency and intensity of flood and drought disasters.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring global climate change and water resources.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Impacts of climate change on water resources
-
Hydrological
cycle
-
Water
disasters
-
Water
management system
-
Water
resources supply and demand balance
-
Changes in the
balance between snow and rain
-

and water policies
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special
Issue – Global Climate Change and Water
