Special Issue on Actuarial Science and Finance
Actuarial
science is a discipline that assesses financial risk in the various economic
activities using mathematical, financial and statistical methods. It is the
basis for modern insurance, finance and investment to achieve sound operation.
Actuarial science applies probability theory and mathematical statistics to
define, analyze and solve the financial implications of uncertain future
events. Such as pensions, insurance, savings and investment, economics,
business, and finance.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring actuarial science and finance.
