Special Issue on Climate Change and Agriculture

Agriculture is highly exposed to climate change, as farming activities directly depend on climatic conditions. Agriculture also contributes to climate change through the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. However, agriculture can also contribute to climate change mitigation by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and by sequestering carbon while maintaining food production.  The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Climate Change and Agriculture.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Climate Change and Agriculture. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Agricultural environment pollution
• Agricultural ecological protection
• Agricultural environment monitoring
• Agricultural meteorological
• Agriculture and climate change
• Environmental, climate and food security

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Climate Change and Agriculture” should be selected during your submission.
