Hang Qin received
his B.S. degree from Central China Normal University, China, in 2001, M.S.
degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2004, and
Ph.D. degree from Wuhan University, China, in 2010, all in computer science. He
participated in the International S & T Cooperation Program of Wuhan
University together with Virginia Tech., Virginia.
From December 2014
to January 2016, he was a visiting scholar of the Electrical and Computer
Engineering Department at University of Houston, Texas.
He has the working
experience of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, Shenzhen, China and PetroChina Co.
Ltd, Beijing, China. He is currently an associate professor in the Computer
School, Yangtze University, China. His research interests include communication
networks, machine learning, and complex software system for oilfield applications.
