Special Issue on Hydrogeology and Water Cycle
Hydrogeology
is the study of the movement and storage of water in the crust of Earth and
other rocky planetary bodies. It maps and quantifies the water stored in
underground aquifers and occasionally surface systems, identifies pathways of
flow and recharge, and assesses the chemical composition and quality of the
below-ground water. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of hydrogeology and
water cycle.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on
exploring hydrogeology and water cycle. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Continuous
circulation of water in the Earth-atmosphere system
-
Evaporation,
transpiration
-
Condensation,
precipitation, and runoff
-
Surface
water hydrology
-
Ground
water quality & analysis
-
Hydrology
modelling
-
Characteristics
of the regional hydrological cycle
-
Effects
on biogeochemical cycling
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Hydrogeology and Water Cycle” should be chosen during your submission.
