Special Issue on Political Sociology
Political
Sociology examines the interplay between society and politics, focusing on how
social structures, identities, and institutions influence political behavior,
power dynamics, and governance. It explores topics such as political
ideologies, state formation, social movements, voter behavior, and the role of
class, race, gender, and culture in political processes. Political sociology
also analyzes how authority is constructed and challenged, the impact of
globalization on political systems, and the ways in which citizens engage with
or resist political power in both democratic and authoritarian contexts.
