Special Issue on Road and Bridge Engineering

Road and Bridge Engineering aims to highlight innovative research, design methodologies, and practical advancements in the planning, construction, maintenance, and management of transportation infrastructure. This theme welcomes papers addressing structural analysis, materials technology, geotechnical integration, traffic load modeling, seismic resilience, and sustainability in roadways and bridge systems. Emphasis is also placed on smart transportation technologies, digital construction methods (such as BIM), and the challenges posed by climate change and urbanization. Contributions from both academic researchers and industry professionals are encouraged to promote safer, more efficient, and durable transport networks.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Road and Bridge Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
