Special Issue on
Water Contamination and Management Strategies
Water Contamination and Management Strategies
focuses on the sources, impacts, and control of pollutants affecting freshwater
and marine ecosystems. It encompasses a broad range of issues, including
industrial discharge, agricultural runoff, urban wastewater, and emerging
contaminants such as microplastics and pharmaceuticals. This topic highlights
both the environmental and public health implications of water pollution, while
emphasizing the development and implementation of sustainable management
strategies. It also explores innovative technologies, policy frameworks, and
community-based approaches aimed at monitoring, preventing, and mitigating
water contamination in diverse geographic and socio-economic contexts..
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Water Contamination and Management Strategies. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Agricultural runoff control
-
Emerging pollutants
-
Eutrophication prevention
-
Groundwater contamination
-
Heavy metal removal
-
