Special Issue on Advances in Sustainable Civil
and Environmental Engineering
Advances in Sustainable Civil and
Environmental Engineering explores innovative approaches, technologies, and
methodologies that promote sustainability in the design, construction, and
maintenance of infrastructure and environmental systems. This interdisciplinary
field focuses on reducing environmental impact, enhancing resource efficiency,
and improving the resilience of built environments. It integrates principles of
green engineering, renewable energy, waste reduction, and climate-adaptive
design to address pressing global challenges such as urbanization, pollution,
and climate change. By emphasizing long-term ecological balance and social
well-being, this area aims to create infrastructure that supports both human
development and environmental preservation.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Advances
in Sustainable Civil and Environmental Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Climate-resilient infrastructure
-
Eco-friendly geotechnical engineering
-
Energy-efficient structural systems
-
Green building design
-
Life cycle assessment (LCA)
-
Low-carbon construction technologies
-
