Special Issue on World Languages and Literature
World
Languages and Literature explores the rich diversity of linguistic and literary
traditions across cultures and regions, emphasizing both the uniqueness and
interconnectedness of global narratives. This field examines how language
shapes literary expression, identity, and cultural understanding in various
historical and contemporary contexts. It includes the study of multilingual
texts, translation, transnational literature, and the circulation of literary
works beyond national boundaries. By analyzing literature written in and across
world languages, the discipline fosters a deeper appreciation of global
cultural exchange, linguistic diversity, and the evolving nature of
storytelling in an increasingly interconnected world.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
