ABSTRACT: This case study focuses on equity audit efforts
conducted by a principal intern serving in a job-embedded
principal preparation residency program. Data from the equity audit is
illustrated through tables along with the perception from the principal intern
experience primarily focusing on equity within gifted and talented population.
The case study is ambiguous yet intentional in providing instruction on how to
conduct an equity audit and provide solutions to challenge the inequities
found. This study can be used as a tool to use in educator preparation programs.
