ABSTRACT: In the Legacy media era, the power and rights to produce and distribute
all cultural products was in the hands of the mass media, with media
professionals effectively exercising control and monopoly over audiences
through the production and distribution of cultural products, and the power of
fans of cultural products was very limited. Recent years, media technology is
developing in the direction of digitisation and intelligence. It seems that fans in the
mainland of China have dramatic changes. The status of fan culture in Mainland
China today will be systematically analyzed in this paper.
