ABSTRACT: This paper elaborates on the expanding role of both
China and India in Latin America. More specifically, we focus on the growing
relationship between Brazil with China and India to illustrate the growing
economic impact of China and India on Brazil’s economy and business
environment. China’s “Belt and Road Initiative” has integrated Brazil’s economy
into the Chinese economy. India is following on China’s footsteps expanding its
role in Brazil’s economy as well. There is a great potential for synergies
between Brazil and China and India. This increasing economic integration,
however, brings a number of challenges and opportunities for all three
countries involved.
