ABSTRACT: Prosthetic valve thrombosis (PVT) is a rare but serious entity. Its diagnosis and treatment can be challenging and mortality remains high regardless of its management. A 50-year-old man admitted with cardiac arrest, whose physical examination and echocardioscopy suggested PVT confirmed with fluoroscopy. Intra-aortic fibrinolysis was the treatment chosen with successful results.
